Barbara studied painting at the Gloucestershire College of Art and Design (now University of Gloucestershire) where she gained an honours degree in Fine Art.

Barbara works with many different media, although at present uses mainly oils, and paints, amongst other things, semi-abstract landscapes, beach/seascapes, townscapes, portraits and still lifes.

Barbara has exhibited widely and her work is held in private collections both in the UK and abroad.
